uu was awarded by the East Bay Community Foundation

We are honored to be a grantee for the Oakland Small Business Resiliency Fund provided by the East Bay Community Foundation. This initiative supports small businesses throughout Oakland. Over half of the grantees have been operating in Oakland for 10 or more years, with 20% serving the community for more than 20 years.

The Fund is dedicated to helping businesses overcome the challenges of accessing capital, particularly those in communities that have been historically impacted by disinvestment and community violence. The EBCF recognizes that small businesses such as uu are innovative and essential to the cultural and economic fabric of Oakland. We are proud to be recognized as a long-standing pillar of our community.
